why am I unable to add new appointments to calendar

All of a sudden I am unable to type appointments into my Outlook Calendar. I
can type it in but then an error comes up saying "Could not save item". The
appointments from previous are still there but the alarm is not popping up.
Did I do something to cause this or block any new events. I hope you can help

Try clearing your forms cache. Tools->options->Other->Advanced->Manage forms.

After you follow Milly's advice, try increasing the forms storage space on
your hard drive. Thsi will also make you reboot. After doing this, I was
able to add appointments and get alarms.
