No, but you can always add other people's calendars to your current list until that list is long enough to obscure the links.

What I am interested in doing is displaying additional calendar months rather
than additional calendars - right now I am restricted to 4 months showing.

That was my original thought - but I am not able to resize any of the
sections of the navigation pane - neither up nor down. If I move the
divider between the navigation pane and the calendar details to the right to
display additional monthly calendars then I compress the space available to
display the calendar details which simply creates a different issue.
It appears that resolving this annoyance is not going to be an option -
