How do I open an item from my calendar that is not fully downloade

I am trying to open a meeting invite (that I sent) from my calendar but I
keep getting the error "This operation is not supported until the entire
message is downloaded.  Download the message and try again".  What does this
mean and how can I fix?

Office 2007--internal MS account.
