Hi, all,

I have an ics file, and use Notepat open this file, it contains ATTACH:
component.
I can use Outlook 2007 import this file successfully. But in Outlook 2003,
after import calendar ics file, the attached file disappeared.

I've made another test. In Outlook 2003, create an appointment and add an
attached file in calendar. Save as FileName.ics in local disk. Delete the
calendar in Outlook. Then, import the FileName.ics, the import calendar
without attach.

Need someone's help to explain what happen about this performance.

Thanks a lot,
Daniel

ics files are handled differently in outlook 2003 than they are in 2007.
Outlook 2007 is more true to the RFC and can do multi-events also, while
2003 can't.

Hi, Diane,

Thanks for your reply. I have to find a way to handle this problem in
Outlook 2003, because my customs almost use in 2003. Do you have any idea
about this? Or do you have any tools to resolve the attached file?

BTW, what is the difference of ics files' format between 2003 and 2007?

Thanks a lot,
Daniel
