Email invites are not showing up as tentative in the calendar

In the past the meeting invites I had not accepted would show up as
tentative.  Now, they are currently not showing up at all.

Are you examining the correct calendar?

Invites I accept are showing up in the calendar, but items I have not
accepted yet are not showing up as tentative.

Try resetting your view.

Answering that question accurately requires knowing your Outlook version.
Look in the View menu.  It will be on one of the submenus.

I am using MS Office 2007 and after checking my View submenu I cannot discern
what to do next.  can you assist?

View>Current View>Customize Current View>Reset Current View should work.
