MS Office Forum / Outlook / Calendaring / February 2005cannot locate recurrence information
Ever since installing a service pack for Office 2003, I haven't been able to get reminders due to one error message that pops up when I start Outlook. The message says it can't find the information for a recurring appointment. I cannot delete the appointment because it says it can't find the information. It is a vicious circle. Does anyone know how I can get rid of this appointment? Thank you! I had this problem and I fixed it by setting the Calendar View t Recurring Appointments and then trying to open each entry until I foun the one which wouldn't open because the recurrence information coul not be found. I deleted that entry, recreated it, and the problem wa resolved - edelane edelaney if you get this message, you kick butt. I looked all over for this information for 4 days. Could not for the life of me find that view occurrence view, and tried basically every switch for outlook to rid me of the error.
