I receive a meeting invite and I accept and the organizer receives the acceptance, but it does not transfer to my calendar.  Does anyone know why this happens?

Thanks.

Do you use Outlook Web Access?

No, I do not use Outlook Web Access.  It turns out that the accepted meetings were showing up on the calendar in my personal folder and not the main calendar.  This is still a major problem for me, though and would love any feedback

Thanks

It sounds like your "Delivery Location" on your
email account is your PST.

What version of Outlook do you use?
Do you connect to an Exchange Server?

I am using Outlook 2003 and I do connect to an Exchange server.  This (personal calendar problem) seems to be a recent development, so I am not sure what would have changed.

The check box was already unchecked

I noticed that any meeting invites that stay in my inbox go to the main calendar (correct action) while all invites that get sent to personal folders via rules/alerts show up on the personal calendar (incorrect)

Should I try to uninstall/reinstall Office 2003?  Would that even help

I am afraid I am out of thoughts. You may want to post
this again including all the information about what you
have tried so far.

Brian, I experienced the exact same thing as you did. I had a rule set
up to move items from my Exchange inbox to my personal inbox. It used
to work fine, where any meeting requests would still show up properly
on the Exchange calendar. It worked because my personal folder did not
have a calendar folder.

But one day, I noticed my meeting requests not showing up on the
Exchange calendar and found them in the personal folder calendar
(which appeared out of nowhere). And you can't delete the personal
folder calendar. The only way I was able to solve this was to create a
new personal folder (which does not have a calendar) and copy all the
subfolders from the old personal folder to the new one. Delete the old
personal folder and make sure to update your rules to point to the new
personal folder.

I'm sure what triggered the problem. It could be that I worked offline
and Outlook created a bunch the personal calendar automatically. Let
me know if this works for you.
Fred Goodwin, CMA - 04 Feb 2004 20:06 GMT
Brian: Do you have any rules that move your messages to a personal folder?  I have found that whenever I accept a meeting invitation that was moved to a personal folder, the meeting appears on my personal calendar.

Before you accept a meeting, try moving the meeting invitation back into your main inbox, then accept the meeting.

Does that help?
I receive a meeting invite and I accept and the organizer receives the acceptance, but it does not transfer to my calendar.  Does anyone know why this happens?

 Thanks
