how can i setup auto reply for appointment in my calendar when my outlook is closed ? Unless you're using the Out of Office Assistant with Exchange, you can't -- Outlook would have to be kept running for a local rule to work. Check with your ISP to see if they offer a webmail client with an auto reply feature.
