calendar and email - view simultaneously

Is there a way to have the outlook calendar and email
inbox appear in the same window? I generally use outlook
with my inbox window open and would like to be able to
view my calendar in concert with my email. I need to
view them simultaneously. Would appreciate some input.

Nothing built in, but you could use the Outlook View Control to replace
Outlook Today with something like that. see http://www.digidashlive.com
