Hi,
I have setup Exchange to use resource mailboxes so that users can book
meeting rooms, etc. as described in the following article.
http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/mf019.html
I have also logged in as each of these resource mailboxes and delegated
control so that users can view the resource's calendar before requesting a
slot; avoiding multiple requests only to find out the resource is busy.
This works but is not ideal. It would be much better to just see an
available slot, right click on that time and select new appointment. The
resource is automatically added to the attendees list but under the
Required->field and not the Resources-> field.
So what I am asking is can Outlook/Exchange automatically recognise that
these meeting rooms are a bookable resource and add it to the resource field
of the Select Attendees and Resources dialog box automatically?
SBS 2003 Premium is running on the server and all the clients are running
Outlook 2003.
I hope this makes sense and hope that someone has a solution for me.
James.

Only if you use Exchange Resource Manager from http://www.swinc.com. Outlook
can't make the distinction.
