Deleting a meeting: organizer has left company

Is there any way to delete a meeting in Outlook after the "meeting
organizer" has left the company?  Or does the meeting have to stay
there until the end of time??  We have all tried deleting it, but it
says "access was denied" because we're not the organizer.  No one has
access to her login info, and IT says they have disabled her account.

Thank you for any leads!
