When I receive an *.ics file from an Office 2002 user, the
attachment does not open properly. It come accross as a
file and I do not get the options to accept the meeting.

thanks

If you're using Outlook 2000, this is a known issue.  Ask the Outlook
2002 user to resend the .ICS file to you without a reminder set on the
appointment, and it should work properly.  See
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;307313 for more
information.
