Multiple delegates for calendar

We have situations where individuals have multiple
delegates for their calendar.  All the delegates get the
email invitations for meetings so they can respond.  
Understanding that if you delete the email invitation
without responding, the meeting will not be scheduled.
What if one of the delegates deletes the message, but the
other one doesn't?  Does that void the invitation?

No, if they just delete it then nothing will happen. I think whomever
responds to it first will actually make the change in the Calendar.
