Has anyone seen this problem. It appears that clicking on a icalendar web
link to add a calendar event doesn't work afte WinXP SP2 is installed. Has
anyone seen this or found a fix? These are links that are posted on travel
sites and some other sites.

System:

WIndows XP sp2 with Outlook 2003 served from SBS 2003 with Exchange 2003 SP1

Thanks for the response.

Sorry I wasn't very clear. I had to find a web site that had calendars
available all the time to reproduce the event.
When opening the event, I get the SP2 run dialgog. Click run.
After 30 seconds I get:

"the operation failed the object could not be found"

I think the problem is correlated to the SP2 update but I can't say with
100% confidence

Below is a good event to test from:

Works fine here. Outlook 2003 SP1, Win XP SP2. Do .ics files that you save
from Outlook open OK? Have you tried running Help | Detect and Repair?

Thanks, I just tried it on another client machine  and you are correct it is
working. So the problem is unreleated to SP2.
I'm having other problems with this particular client machine such as taking
forever to get the properties on a file or even selecting a file to delete.
Perhaps this is just another artifact of this problem. It appea
