How can you delete all your old calander entries,

Look up Archiving in the help file.
Or, you can do an Advanced Find on the calendar by right clicking on the
calendar and choosing Advanced Find. Set the Find to show you all
appointments before a certain date, then delete them.

Try using the By Category view to see them all. Select, then delete.
