multiple calendars

One of the people I work with created a personal calendar
and a work under his main calendar. He now wants to move
the items from these 2 calendars into his main calendar.
I tried to copy and that doesn't work. I tried to select
all and copy that didn't work either. Is there an "easy"
way to move all the items from these sub-calendars into
his main one? Thanks in advance.

I changed the view to category and copied all items into
the main calendar. Thanks anyway.
