Shared Calendar Updates

We have a shared calendar that is accessed via a public
folder. We are using Outlook 2003 and exchange 5.5. Here
is my problem; I copied the Public calendar to the My
calendars section in outlook for easy access, but when
someone does an update to the calendar from that shortcut
it only shows on their view of the calendar and no other
users can see this change, however if you make a change
to the calendar using the calendar shortcut that is
located under the shortcut menu in the navigation pane
then the updates will be displayed as long as the other
person is also using the calendar shortcut under the
shortcut menu to view the calendar. I hope that makes
sense.

My Calendars shows the cached copy in Public Folders\Favorites. Shortcuts
may be looking at the online original in Public Folders\All Folders. They
should be the same once Outlook synchronizes the changes in Favorites to the
online version.
