My company is in the midst of upgrading from Office 2000
to 2003, and currently very few users are on 2003.

I just noticed a horrifying fact, and I need some more
info. In Outlook 2000, we set our default for calendar
items to 'Private', and nobody could see what we were
doing, just whether or not we were available. Many people
put personal or confidential calendar items in their
calendars. Snoopy people would open your calendar, as if
they were setting up a meeting request, and hover over
your meetings to see what you were doing.

Anyway, with 2003, there is the shared calendars feature,
where you can see others calendars next to yours. You can
also see other people's private calendar items and even
open them up and open attachments (i.e. open an interview
a manager is doing and read the resume).

Is this because they are on 2000? I noticed of the people
on 2003, I could open one calendar, and the other said I
didn't have permission.

How can I make sure I set my calendar so that no one can
see the title or content of my meetings, only whether or
not I have availability?
