If you are using Word as your editor and you have Adobe Acrobat installed,
you may be getting the prompt based on the .pdf addin for Word.

While it applies to SP 3 for Office/Outlook 2002, it may also apply to your
Net Folders problem.

Actually, the PC that has Acrobat 5 on it does NOT experience the
security prompts when new items are received for its shared Calendar.
The PC without Acrobat does - go figure :)
One possibility: I have installed Word 2003 on my own PC, which is
the one that has Outlook 2000 SP3 and does NOT experience the security
prompts. Maybe installation of just Word 2003 from the Office 2003
suite somehow changed some security settings?
While I am "always scratching my head" about how Microsoft products
sometimes LOSE functionality with each new version or SP, I didn't
write that in my original message. Just curious if/why you added that
blurb to this thread ? Scratch, scratch, scratch ... :)
