Send meeting request to non-attendees

In previous versions of outlook it was possible to send a meeting request to
persons not attending the meeting. This does not appear to be possible in
Outlook XP. Can anyone tell me how I can do this?

Do you mean optional attendees?  Or just forwarding the meeting to someone not on the meeting roster?  You can do either one with Outlook 2003 and earlier.  How did you try to send this meeting request?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact.  Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
