Inability to access Calendar

When I'm in Outlook:
1. If I am on my Contact page or Inbox page and I click
on Calendar on the Outlook toolbar, I get an error
message telling me that an error has occurred and that
the program will close.
2. I then am asked if I want to send an error report,
which I usually do send.
3. Outlook then automatically (because it's checked)
restarts. When I try to access the Calendar, I am right
back at point number 1, above.
4. Sometimes I can't access Calendar at all, no matter
how times I restart Outlook.
5. Sometimes I'll be able to access Calendar upon the
fifth, sixth, etc. try.
I've never had this happen before. Does someone know
what's happening . . . and why?

Can you access the Calendar in the Folder List?  If the Folder List
isn't visible, click the View menu and choose Folder List.
