Hi,
I am working on a component to Allow the User to attach an Icalendar File
(.ICS) to be viewed by outlook users as meeting request to allow the
recepients to Accept or Decline the request.

The problem I am facing is: When Outlook receive the E-mail message my SMTP
Mail client sent, The(.ICS) Attachment will be received as a ".MSG" message
and not as (.ICS) file attachment.

I tried To send the same E-mail with(.ICS) file attachment from many Mail
Clients including Hotmail and Outlook Express but I am having the same wrong
result. I believe, It must be an Outlook Issue. Any Help in the matter will
be much Appreciated.

Thanks a lot

An iCalendar file is a text file. How are you creating the message that
includes the supposed iCalendar file?
