Is there a way to delete ALL the appointments in a
calendar?  A new person is taking over the computer and I
want to delete all of the calendar appointments.  Is there
any easy way to do that?  Thanks!

It'll take a few steps, but you can change the View on
the calendar to show Events, Active Appointments,
Recurring Appointments, etc (one at a time) and delete
what's listed. You can click the top item and the
shift+click the bottom item to select them all.

If that leaves any old past meetings/appointments, setup
Autoarchive on the calendr to delete anything older X
days.

In the old days you could use exchng32.exe (the old
Exchange client) to open the mailbox and delete the
calendar folder. Then use Outlook /resetfolders to
recreate a new Calendar. Outlook will not allow you to
delete the calendar, so you'll have to use the
suggestions above unless you happen to still have
exchng32.exe available.

The others who replied to your message are on the right track, but it
will be easier if you switch to an unfiltered view of your Calendar
folder such as By Category -- that way you'll be sure you're seeing ALL
the appointments at once.  If you don't see "Filter Applied" in the
Status Bar or the Title Bar (which may be obscured by the Address Bar in
Outlook 2002 -- drag the Address Bar all the way to the right to show
the Title Bar), then there are no filters set on the view you're in.
