Problems with date drop down boxes,.. Nvidia conflict?

Thread rating: |
rfc - 24 Nov 2004 05:19 GMT I can no longer get into the drop down boxes in Calendar. As soon as I move the mouse they vanish/close.
I have tried Detect & Repair. I have tried reinstalling over the top.
The only thing that seems to affect it is I am running an GeforceNvidia fx5200 graphics card with dualscreen enabled, and when I changed some of these options it started for a while. However, I have had Outlook working fine on this system for nearly a year with no conflicts. I ahve tried upgrading tothe latest driver.. and going back to the original one, but neither make any difference
Can some clever person please help becasue I don't want ot have to rebuild this system to get this working!
Many thanks
rfc

They all close as I move the mouse towards them.

If yes, uncheck them one by one until you find the problem.

I have Exchange Extensions& Windoes CE, plus Outlook back-up..... all of which are old and previously worked.
I know it isn't to do with the pst fiules becuse I don't have any problems with the same file on another computer.
Have you come across this before? Shouldn't either the Dectect & Repair, or the Re-install ahve fixed it? I really am at my wits end.

* Gone back to the original driverthat came with the card * Got the latest one from Nvidia (which appears to be properly certified) * Done the reinstall in safe mode to avoid problems with Norton Anti-virus
I have also established that I have the same problem in Safe mode, which if Iam correct, doesn't use the Nvidia driver. I am interpretting this as meaning it is an Outlook problem.
What next???

This would appear to have been since downloading the latest patches approx 1 week ago. I am using Outlook 2002, SP3, and have an NVIDIA motherboard, however I don't feel that the motherboard is the problem.
Can I remove the latest patches, and see if that works?

So what was the resolution?

Ditto for the times.
