Meeting invitation delivered as ASCII

Meeting invitations sent from my PC are delivered as e-mail with ASCII
delimited data about the meeting as the message - no response form.

But invitations sent _to_ me arrive in the appropriate response form.

Must be missing something on my end that causes the data to go out
incorrectly. Any ideas what that be, and how I can restore it? I tried
reinstalling/repairing Office 2000 from my CDs but without success.

Thanks!

you need the send them as RTF. Are you using Exchange server or do you have
the contacts set to only get plain text formatted messages?

(1) While we are using Exchange server, all e-mail is sent and received via
the internet.

(2) Other workstations performing the same process with the same software do
not have this problem.

(2) I am not given any formatting options in my meeting invitation entry
screen; both Font and Paragraph are greyed out. Same at other workstations
here.

(3) Where would one set all the contacts to only get plain text formatted
messages?

(4) Entering "Microsoft Outlook Rich Text" in Options | Mail Format |
Message Format  has no impact.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Where to next?
