Hi        Is there a way of filtering categories in a custom view, but also
show events and appointments that were accidentally not given a category.

thanks tim

Version?

Did you try filtering for category contains (or is exactly) and also
category is empty? Typically, when you use the same field twice, it uses the
OR operator, not AND. If this fails and you have a recent version of
outlook,  you may be able to use the SQL view tab to fine tune the filter.
