Is there a way to suspend a recurring appointment.  For example, I have my
weekly staff meeting set as a recurring event on each Friday.  Our company
observes this Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve as holidays, so we will not
be meeting on those days.  However, we will of course resume forever forward
after these holidays.  Can these occurrences be suspended in some way?

Double click on the appointment - when it asks, select to open This
Occurance. Click cancel.

Thanks... I did this to the first occurance I wanted to delete (Actions >
Cancel) and I was able to delete only that occurance in a subsequent
dialogue box similar to the first.  However, on subsequent attempts the
Actions > Cancel option was disabled.  I discovered by right-clicking and
selecting Delete, I accessed the same series/occurance option.
