I am using Outlook 2002 from the Office XP suite. I have applied all updates.
I am unable to dismiss reminders when the popup reminder/snooze window
appears. The e-mail accounts are POP3 accounts from my ISP. This is happening
on my home PC. I have Windows XP Pro and I am using a limited account (not in
the Admin group). The file system is NTFS and simple file permissions are
off.  The only way I have been able to stop the reminders popup is to delete
the item from the calendar. I have verified that the e-mail file (.pst) is in
my Documents and Settings\userid folder.  I have checked the permissions on
the .pst and my account has full control.  The Outlook permissions appear to
be correct because I can delete e-mail messages, send messages, move messages
to folders, etc. I am not able to see the security tab when I select
properties on any outlook folder from the folder list. I am tired of seeing
these reminders.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
