Export calendar in Outlook 2002 no longer works

I used to be able to export my Outlook 2002 calendar to an Access database,
where I could use it with a Word mail merge. However, something is now
preventing the export from taking place. Outlook hangs up and I need to
restart it. I've reinstalled Outlook and repaired the files but that doesn't
help. Any ideas. Is there another way for me to get access to my Outlook
calendar from Word? I use Word and Outlook XP (2002).

Have you already tried Detect and Repair? What is the exact error message
you get?

Thanks for your help, Milly!

I have used detect and repair. I get no error message. When I start the
export my Outlook simply freezes up. The status bar which shows how far the
export has progressed simply freezes and doesn't show any progress. I have
waited as long as 15 minutes and there is no change, so I have to use
CTRL-ALT-Delete to get out of Outlook.

If I copy the calendar events for the specific days I want into another
calendar folder I can export them from there but I don't get any recurring
events that way.

My Calendar folder is a little over 3 MB. Is that too large for Outlook to
handle?
