If I create a calendar in 2005, next year will it automatically move it to
2006 moving comments for each date to the new year or do I have to recreate
the calendar for each year? (ie. 2005 has comments for jan 14  Jim's BD which
falls on a wednesday. can this appear on Jan 14 in 2006 which is a thursday).
How can I do this?

If you put Birthdays into Contact records, any associated notes will stay
with them year after year and the birthday will appear each year on the
correct date.  Which day of the week it falls on is irrelevant.

If that's not what you want, please have another try at explaining what you
are trying to achieve.  Please also post your version.
