Here's what I need to do.
I have 200 people in our group that are, in a nutshell, computer ... Well
lets just say that most of them are not very computer literate.
Instead of inviting them and having to train them in outlook, I'd like to
force an event to their calendar with a reminder set.
I am an Exchange Admin, so permissions are not an issue.
Hope that helps.
Ron.
Then you would need to set their Outlook profiles with auto-accept turned
on. Tools->Options->Calendar Options->Resource scheduling. If the user has
auto-accept turned on, your meeting would automatically populate once they
receive the meeting item.
By the way, I know that users can be a royal pain, but training them to use
the tools they have been given, in the long run, empowers them and keeps
those nasty calls "I lost my toolbar!" to a minimum. Users also appreciate
the knowledge and control over their own documents, meetings, spreadsheets,
etc.
