I am having a problem w/ reminders not deleting

I am having a problem w/ reminders not deleting after I attampt to do so. I
delete the event itself and still the reminder will reappear when I next log
onto outlook?? Any advise you can offer would be great

Start->run->outlook.exe /cleanreminders seems to solve most of the problems
with this occurring.
