I've been using Outlook XP and just got a new PC with Outlook 2003. I
did a "find" in my contacts and now I my calendar is shown in a list
(Subject/Location/Start/End/Recurrence) - kinda like how Tasks usually
works.

I cleared the filter on the view and that didn't make a difference.
Frankly, there's just some term or use model that's different here that
I do not understand.

I played with the help system, and it seemed to suggest different ways
to adjust this list, but not return me to the regular ole daily/weekly
view of the calendar.

It's a bit of a catch-22, since unless you know the terms that are
being applied to these widgets (views? filters?) you don't know how to
search 'em.

Thanks for any help!

Easiest method is to right click in the toolbar area and enable the Advanced
Toolbar.  In the View dropdown, change it to Day/Week/Month view.

The Advanced Toolbar doesn't have a "View dropdown"

It has buttons for
Outlook Today
Back
Forward
Up One Level
Undo

still scratching furiously, thanks!
