I have just made a custom OUTLOOK.HOL file that has my companies Holidays in
it.
Is there a way that I can set the Free / Busy to out of office or something
for all of the holidays that I input?  I guess what I am asking is can I make
them appointments and schedule them as out of office?

I also have some events in the file that I want to remain as events.

If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear them.

Thanks in advance.

No. Holidays are always all-day events and free by default. See
http://www.outlookcode.com/d/forms/holiday.htm for other methods that can
give you more control.
