Delete past occurences

WinXP/OL2003
I have many recurring items (radio & TV programs) which I do not need/want
archive once their date passed. I have not found a way to delete them
without deleting the future occurences.
Is there a way?

You would need to open each one and delete and answer that you only want to
delete this occurrence.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
