I have office xp pro.  My hard drive if full, and my OS (win 2k) has slowed
down.  I purchase a larger new hard drive, and installed the win 2k on it.  I
am transferring all the data I can to the new drive.  I want to save all my
contacts and all my calendar events - meaning: events, birthdays etc.  How do
you save an entire calendars events to load into a newly installed outlook
calendar.

Take a look here, it may help:
http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup.htm

Open the .pst file on the new drive, do NOT import.
