I have two peersonal folders with different names. (Personal Folders &
Personal Folders5). In Personal Folders I have all my mail items. In Personal
Folders5 I have my Calendar and Contacts. If I try and send an e-mail and
click on "To" it can't find my Contacts. I have to go to Contacts, click on
Personal Folders5, right-click a recipient, and select "New Message to
Contact." How can I get back to just one "Personal Folders"?

Create a new mail profile - yours is now corrupt - probably from importing
rather than opening a .pst file.  Control Panel->Mail Icon->Show
Profiles->New.  Do not copy your old one.  Point it to the data file that
has your current information.

After Control Panel->Mail Icon->Mail Setup - Outlook->Profiles->Show
Profiles->Mail dialog box->"The following profiles are setup on this
computer: Outlook; Buttons: 'Add,' 'Remove,' 'Properties,' and 'Copy.' Below
that: "When starting Microsoft Office Outlook, use this profile: then two
radio buttons "Prompt for a profile to be used" and "Always use this profile"
If the "Always use this profile" is chosen "Outlook" appears in the window
below. If I use the "Prompt for a profile to be used" and click "Add" button
-> New Profile dialog box and a place to enter the Profile Name. (BillsMail).
-> E-mail Accounts dialog box: Under "E-mail" ->2wo radio buttons: "Add a new
e-mail account" and "View or change existing e-mail accounts" (if I choose
this last, "View or change existing e-mail accounts" -> I get another E-Mail
Accounts wanting me to select a specific account and there are none to
select. If I choose the first Add a new e-mail account" it ask Server Type
and presents 5 radio buttons, two of which are POP3 and IMAP. I a wee bit
lost as  to whether I am going down the correct path. I will have to check
but I think I use both POP3 and IMAP (?).

Thank you for your reply. I did create a new Profile. If through Control
Panel>Mail Icon>Show Profile> I can select "Prompt for profile to be used" or
"always use this profile." In the reply box below I have two profiles to
choose from: "Outlook" (my old profile) or "BillsMail" (my new profile). If I
choose "BillsMail" and launch Microsoft Office Outlook -- I come up ok but
there is nothing in my calendar, contacts, inbox, etc. How do I
transfer/move/copy the material from the old profiles: Personal Folders and
Personal Folders5?

You can open either or both of the old .PST files in Outlook using File |
Open | Outlook Data File, then either tell Outlook to use one of the files
as your default, or drag and drop items from your old file(s) to the new
one.
