Error 0x800CCC13 even though I am able to send and recieve email using
Outlook without any other problems. Why does the  "Inviting Attendees" option
in Calendar cause this error?

Hello,

I had the same problem: Standard Mails work, but appointments didn't work.

Although not able to identify the problem in detail, I have the feeling it
is connected with relaying restrictions of the involved SMTP hosts.

I have two SMTP/POP accounts on different servers,
- a private one and a
- company one (default).

I cannot use both, because from at home I cannot use the company server,
from the company SMTP to the private server is forbidden.

I have managed to arrange a meeting with other partners in the company,
thus not involving relaying on the on the company SMTP server.

However I have problems to mix up local and external recipients of a
meeting.

However I succeeded first to arrange the meeting with internal recipients
(and sending invitations) and in a second step adding an external address
(and sending invitation just to this person). Quite confusing.
But it is worth a try testing.
