Hi, I am using Outlook 2003 on XP SP2. I am using Categories for my Contacts. Each Contact belongs to one of 6 categories. Is there a way I can build a Distribution List with all the Contacts from 1 category? Without having to manually go through all of my Contacts and selecting them one at a time depending on which Category they belong to? Thanks, Chris Why would you need to? If you've gone to the trouble of creating Categories use them instead of DL's They are far more reliable. You can easily send a message to all the members of a Category. Instead you use the By Category view to select your Contacts, then start the merge from Outlook to those Contacts you just selected.
