Using contacts and categories

Currently have contacts setup in shared public folder to enable access for
all of our office staff.  Categories are assigned within the contacts.  I
change the view to "Arrange by Categories".  I know I can select category and
send new message via "Actions" command but this automatically sends it to the
"To" field.  I want it to go to the "bcc" field instead so all of the email
addresses will not appear.  Can't figure out how to do it short of creating
DL lists.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.  Using Outlook 2003 with Exchange
Server.

Cut and paste from To: to BCC: or use DL's.

Thanks.  I have actually used the cut and paste as a workaround but was
hoping there was a better way.  Our department is going to use Outlook
contacts as a shared database for our contacts.  Emails will be sent to the
selected categories for marketing purposes.  If you know of a better tool to
use, please share.  Thanks for your assistance.

I don't know of any, but there are a whole host of add-ins and enhancements
for Outlook out there. You can start looking here:
