cannot view contacts in contacts address book

hi, i am running office xp all patched up but get a problem when adding
contacts. i can add a contact but then when i go to view them in the address
book view they are not there.this has only recently started happening-is
there a limit on the size contacts can be??

Any help appreciated!!

You've not exceeded a limit.
First, are these Contacts that have electronic addresses? Those are the only
ones that should appear.
If so, check the configuration of your Outlook Address Book and make sure
you are displaying the Contacts Folder to which you are adding Contacts. You
did not post your Outlook version. This will suffice for recent versions:
