Urgent!  Need to send these e-mails now due to deadline

Problem with transferring contacts with e-mail addresses from Excel 2000
spreadsheet to Outlook 2000 contacts.  Import Export wizard in Outlook says:
"ODBC error occurred in Excel translator while opening file to build a file
map. Too many fields defined."  However I cannot find how to map the file for
acceptance.  Even if I delete everything except one column with a header, I
still get the same thing come up.  Any ideas please?

Create a couple of contacts in Outlook with all of the relevant information
filled in.  Export this to a .csv file.  Compare the one you just created to
your exisiting one and massage yours accordingly.  Outlook does not use
custom fields in importing so if you have any, you will need to remove them.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact.  Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
