How do I import excel contact spreadsheet to Outlook?

I have tried to import a spreadsheet with a list of contacts into Outlook and
when it is complete, each field is in its own contact.  For example, the
first name, last name, address etc. each go in as a contact.

Check your named range in Excel and the field mapping in the Import and
Export wizard.
