Adding Contacts File to E-mail

I hate to ask this question because I know I have seen the answer before, but
I can't find it since my recent computer crash. (Thought I had recovered all
my files, but this one escapes me.)

How do I tell Outlook to include a particular Contacts folder -- e.g.
Personal Contacts -- when looking for email addresses? I've fiddled and
fiddled and can't recreate the steps on my own.

Sorry to be an idiot, and thanks in advance.
