How do I save emails directly to activities of contact... I would like to do
this when I wish to... I do not want to set it to do this automatically on
every email that comes in. So far all emails I send out are saved directly to
the activities of the contact

Actually, **nothing** is saved directly to the contact's activities. The
Activities tab performs a dynamic search of all items related to the current
contact that are present in the folders set for a particular activity group.
If you change the default group to one that shows only the Journal folder
and you create journal entries for particular email messages, then the
Activities view will show only those messages.
