Is there a way Outlook will find duplicate addresses in its address book so
they can be deleted?

Data is not stored in the address book, nor do you manipulate data there.
The address book will not show duplicates. It will display each electronic
address a Contact has. Is that what you think are duplicates?
Clarify your post.
