Outlook 2002 - I have changed my default "file as" order to First Last.
Which is working fine for new contacts, but I cannot see a way to also amend
the "file as" order in the existing data.  Can anyone help?
Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] - 01 Dec 2004 19:27 GMT
You can only do that with code:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;291144&Product=ol2002

Is this also possible for Outlook 2000?  I went to the KB article and it only
states Outlook 2002.  Thanks in advance. Kate Wolman

Steve,

This question comes up frequently.  Sperry Software is developing an
add-in that will perform the "File As" conversion on all your existing
contacts and we are looking for beta testers.  If you're interested in
trying it out, please email me directly at sales (at) sperrysoftware.com.

If anyone else is interested in beta testing this add-in, please just
email as well and we'll get you set up.

 Thanks!

Hello,

the field "File as" can be changed in Outlook 2000 by the tool
"ChangeNames" (http://tinyurl.com/ybqjt2)

Questions and suggestions are very welcome. Please use for it the forum
on my homepage.

Best regards
Peter
