I am trying to use the Due by field in the Flag for Follow up field to give
me alerts when it is time to call or email a contact. When I set this field
no alarm appears at the selected time as it does in Contacts with the
standard Outlook 2003.

How can I get this feature to work under the Business Contact Manager?

I am running Business Contact Manager and Outlook 2003 SP1 on stand lone PC
running XP SP2.

You can't. BCM won't support it, Outlook won't support it and the 3rd party
addins that let you get reminders from non-default folders won't work with
BCM.
