activities tab in public folders

We're using Microsoft Outlook 2003. We want to all be able to see and add to
the firm's contacts as well as see any journal notes created from "activites"
for a contact. We have the Contacts in Public Folders. However, when I
create a journal entry for a Public Contact it carries to my personal journal
entries. Any ideas on how to correct this?
