All,

I had a registry failure recently that caused a complete system
shutdown.  I was able to retrieve all data and am in the process of bringing
back my outlook.
When I create a new email and click ln the To button it cannot find the
default contacts folder.  All contacts are there in a directory called
Contacts so I can only assume that this is no longer the default folder.
Can someone tell me how to reassign this folder as the default??

Hi,
I am having exactly the same problem.
I tried importing the .pst backup a few time and still the same thing.
The contacts are there in the contacts folder but not there when you click
on the "To" sign when you compose a mail message.
Please let me know if you find a solution.
Thanks!

Did you try configuring the Outlook Address Book?

Delete any duplicate or invalid reference to a Contact Folder here:
Tools > E-mail accounts > View or change existing directories or address
books > Outlook Address Book > Change.
